5 ways to ruin your first impression

You do not follow instructions

You have received an email or a call from the employer with an invitation to an interview in which you are informed about some requirements. Do you always follow them? If the employer asks you to name several dates and time periods when you can come for an interview, you should not name only one. If you are asked to call back tomorrow morning, then do not call after lunch. Show your responsibility and attention to detail.
You are reacting slowly

If you indicate your email in the resume, then you may well receive a letter from the employer. And it will be very wrong if you answer it in a week. Checking your email may not be your daily habit, but when you are looking for work, it should become one. Otherwise, the employer will simply charge you.
You talk on the phone when you are uncomfortable

Everyone has mobile phones, but this does not mean that we can always answer the phone and talk for a long time. If you see an incoming call from an unfamiliar number, while you yourself are driving or in another uncomfortable setting for a conversation, it is better to politely reschedule the conversation. Otherwise, you will be inattentive and may make many mistakes, not remember important information, etc. And this can then have a very negative effect.
You are missing key details

If you, for example, live in Dnepropetrovsk, and you are offered work in Kiev, you should not be completely sure that you will have a telephone or Skype interview, and you should already plan a trip to the company’s office. Be sure to specify key points. Your guesses should not seem to you an obvious fact.
You agreed on an interview time before you were sure you could

If you are looking for work, being employed, you must be sure that you can get to the interview in time. Take time off in advance, take a day off and only then coordinate the date and time with the interviewer. No business should hinder you. If you are not employed, this rule still should not be forgotten. Your chances of finding a job will definitely not increase if you reschedule interviews or be late.
